This is one of Campbell Rivers hidden gems. Don't let the interior and decor fool you. You get massive amounts of food, that tastes out of this world.

Food is cooked fast and the staff is very friendly. Even better there is NO taxes. Give the place a try! Took a while to finally find a great place to eat.

This in my opinion the best Chinese food around with very friendly staff, never a bad meal and the absolute best chow mein

Very good Chinese food. Reasonably priced, with excellent friendly service. I can't wait to try the duck.

We love this place! Truly consistent, fast, inexpensive and delicious food. The servings are huge and the service is impeccable. Don't get me wrong- the decor is cheap and kind of tacky, but CLEAN. If I got to choose better decor for a higher priced meal, I'd choose what we have here. The take-out service is booming and fast because they don't deliver (the food is so good and they don't seem to be lacking business, so why complicate things?).
We've chosen this as one of put top 3 places to eat in Campbell.  What do I recommend?
Wonton soup is HUGE and delicious.
Egg rolls- a bit of a fusion, as a Chinese filling is wrapped in a fried rice paper wrapper, but the taste is yummy.
Fat Boy- a nice helping of several choices on the menu
Sweet and sour pork- not fried in a grease-soaked batter, but instead, in a savory breading which holds the sweet and sour sauce on nicely.

We were brought here on a recommendation by friends who lived in the area.  I was sceptical at first (since I couldn't find it on yelp as they were calling it Henry's place).  I was also still sceptical as I entered and saw the interior.  There weren't many veggie options on the menu either, but the waitress was great and let me know they could make me something with tofu!  Perfect, I'll take it.  They didn't have any veggie options for starters so I waited patiently while my friends ate what looked to be decent egg rolls and a great wonton soup.  My man said the soup was good.  My dish (Tofu w/veggie and black bean sauce) came out and looked really fresh.  The portion was large as well.  The dish tasted as fresh as it looked and I really enjoyed it.  I wouldn't hesitate to get it again.  I also was looking at the soy sauce as it was in a kikkoman bottle, but looked much different from what mine at home looked like.  Maybe they just refill it with some other type - but that other type was even better than kikkoman!  It's certainly a great spot and Henry (the owner and cook) was very friendly and personable.  Enjoyed my lunch in this little hole in the wall.
